I recently received my quarterly Walmart Beauty Box!

Ahh I love opening a box full of surprises. I didn’t think I would like spending money and not knowing what I would get, but the surprise has been really fun! Plus, it’s only $5, so what have I got to lose, right?

I kinda felt like my last box had a little more “meat” to it with more value. This one had 1 full size item, some travel sizes, and some single use samples.

-Loreal OleoTherapy Shampoo & Conditioner (travel sizes)
There was enough in these bottles for at least a week or two of uses. While I used the entire bottles, I wouldn’t purchase this for normal use. The shampoo is really thick and almost sticky, while the conditioner is not as thick as I would like…it’s like the shampoo and conditioner switched consistencies. I also wasn’t too fond of the smell…sort of chemical-ish.

-Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream (travel size - enough for a few uses)
This lotion is tinted and it’s supposed to improve your skin tone over time. While there isn’t enough in this container to achieve that, I still liked it. It had a nice, light scent and left my skin soft and smooth.

-Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipstick in Maple Kiss (Full size)
Honestly, I haven’t used this yet. It’s just not really a color I would choose, so this was kind of a fail. ![]()

-Olay Fresh Effects Make-Up Removal Wet Cloths (7 towelettes)
Confession: I just use my face wash to remove makeup. I’m too lazy for the extra step. Regardless, I tried these and liked them, but I’m not sure I would continue to use them just because I don’t have a need for them.

Do they work? Just check out this after photo!

-Nivea Cocoa Butter lotion (super small sample - not even one full use) and a coupon

-Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder (Super small sample - probably one use)
I haven’t used this yet, it’s kind of a weird way to have a sample in my opinion, but I was happy about the $1 off coupon on the back because my current powder is almost empty!

I’m looking forward to my next box!
This is not a paid or sponsored post. I signed up on my own and paid the $5. If you are interested, you can visit the Walmart Beauty Box site here. They also have a Baby Box, with specific boxes tailored to your pregnancy trimester or age of your baby (you can see that box here).
