With school back in session in most parts of the country (or close to it!), it’s easy to focus on teaching or reinforcing school-related subjects. Even though Trent doesn’t go to school yet, he also doesn’t go to daycare, so it’s up to us to teach him what we can to set the stage for when he does go to school. Of course, we concentrate on letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. but we also teach him other things…like how to be polite and treat others with kindness.
We promote saying hi and bye, please and thank you, and we also are big on teaching him to share, especially since he has a little sister that has already assumed control of all of his baby toys
