Many of you are in the process of keeping up a resolution or two…perhaps you’ve decided to work out more, eat better, or drink more water. I know I definitely need to drink more water…it’s not that I drink too much other stuff like coffee or soda, it’s just that I often forget to drink anything. At work, I’ll fill up my mason jar/cup in the morning and forget to drink it. After a while, the water tastes weird and unappetizing, so then sometimes I go dump it and refill it…sometimes I don’t.
I know it probably seems silly to review water, especially coming from someone who has never really had a preference for any brand of water in the past. And trust me, I know a few people that will ONLY drink a certain brand of water…no tap and no other brands ever. Sounds kind of exhausting, don’t you think? Whoa - I had heard of vitamin water and such, but I never thought about the benefits of water with a different pH. We received several different sizes of Essentia.
At first, I started with a small bottle at work and Brett tried out a big bottle while editing photos one night. While there’s not much depth that we can go into on water, we both had the same thoughts:
1) It tastes like…water. Ok, before you laugh…what I mean is that there is no weird taste or aftertaste. Some water has a weird taste or aftertaste, but this didn’t have any taste except for pure, refreshing water.
2) After letting them sit for a few hours (I guess we both have the same problem), we both thought the water tasted the same as when we first opened it. Of course, it wasn’t as cold, but we could still drink it and did not have to toss it.
