I am thrilled to share today’s review and giveaway with you! I have been wanting to share more and more photography-related items and tips here, and today will be the day that happens!

I was recently contacted by the extremely nice co-owner of a shop on Etsy, HayBug Designs.

They offer a variety of camera bags, camera straps, pouches and other gifts and home decor items. I had a difficult time choosing a design because they were all so cute!

I like chevron, but I wouldn’t say I’m religious about it…I know it’s kind of trendy right now (i.e. it’s pretty much everywhere!) but I couldn’t resist this dual-designed bag.

I love the light gray with the white and the chevron pattern on the flap mixed with the swirly design on the inside.

It comes with a foam divider insert that provides padding for your camera items.

The divider insert can be removed if you need to use the bag for something other than your camera, but who doesn’t love a little more organization? I know I sure need it!

The dividers simply attach by velcro, so you can move them depending on the size of the items you need to accommodate.

It can hold a camera and one or two extra lenses, depending on the size.

Or you could take out the dividers to fit a camera with a large lens attached. Below is a Canon 5D Mark III camera with a 70-200mm L lens.

And since multi-tasking is my favorite word since becoming a mom, this bag can multi-task, too! You can use it as a purse, even leaving the divider in to provide extra organization, or you could use it as a school bag or diaper bag…or any mixture of the above!

You can adjust the strap too, so you can make it long to make it an across-the-body messenger bag, or short to make a shoulder bag.

It can even be placed over the handles of a stroller for convenience.

While looking around at various sites for things for Trent, his birthday party and our Disney trips, I’ve come across so many cute things that can be personalized. While I wouldn’t want to overdo it on the personalization, I think a few items with a child’s name displayed can be quite cute. I also think it gives children a feeling of ownership once they are old enough to know their name - like “This is my blanket because it says Trent on it!”

Trent’s new favorite food…bread. He is forever trying to steal my sandwiches now.

One of his go-to breakfasts…blueberry waffle with applesauce. I’ll sprinkle some cinnamon on the applesauce for some extra flavor.

Apparently, we have some more babyproofing to do around here.

My drink of choice the past few days. All of us fought a little bit of sickness and I seem to have been the worst at it.

We went to a local teppanyaki/hibachi restaurant, Osaka, for a friend’s birthday. It was Trent’s first time and he was definitely a fan of both the show and the food. (Look at that big honking mound of butter in the chef’s cart on the right!)

He even had his own little plate of fried rice (which he devoured), veggies and chicken.

After dinner, we went to both Home Depot stores and both Lowe’s stores in town looking for specific items. One item on the list was a new outdoor light for our porch. We didn’t purchase one, but at least got an idea for what was available in town.

By the third store, Trent had had enough and passed out in the car. Which also allowed me to relax in the car, as well…our tummies were full!

Today, we had some friends over for lunch and pool time and now we’re just relaxing for the rest of the night. Back to work in the AM for a (hopefully) nice short week.

We got our passports a couple of years ago, right before we went on a cruise. We didn’t NEED them (you don’t need them for closed-loop cruises), but we figured it was easier and safest to have them, since you never know what could happen.

Even though we said we’d wait for Trent to be older, we recently toyed around with the idea of going on another cruise for my birthday in January. Unfortunately, we passed on the idea once we discovered that babies must be potty-trained in order to play in the pools and kid splash zones. We like to hope he’ll be potty-trained by then, but since we can’t guarantee it and that playing in the splash areas was one of his favorite things to do while in Disney, we passed on the idea.

However, it did get us thinking about getting him a passport. We think it would be nice for him to have one just in case we did end up deciding to go on a cruise or any other international trip.

Well, how awesomely convenient it was that the amazing folks at 11:11 contacted me to send us a Passport Holder from their line of eco-friendly, USA-made products! They were also so nice to send Trent his own little 11:11 collection - and something for mommy too!

A little bit about 11:11

11:11 was established in 2003. They are based in Los Angeles and create a line of products that include passport holders, wallets, cardholders, checkbooks, notebooks, jewelry, shopping totes and other fun stuff (like condom cases…tee hee ).

The passport holders measure 3.75″ x 5.25″ when closed and fit all Standard U.S., Canadian, Mexican, Australian and EU passports. Each holder is lovingly made from a surprisingly durable and waterproof combination of sewn laminated 100 % recycled paper and clear vinyl.

They have some really cool and unique designs. This dinosaur passport holder is absolutely perfect for my little guy!

Passports look boring, but now when we get him his passport, hopefully he’ll think it’s awesome. And with three passports, we’ll know which one is his without opening it…perhaps we’ll need to order our own! Since Trent doesn’t have his passport yet, we practiced with my passport.

The passport just slips right into the sleeves on the inside.

I like that it protects your passport, without being bulky or heavy.

They also have mini cardholders that have numerous uses. It makes the perfect Disney ticket holder or room key holder! I never carry a wallet in Disney and am always looking to shrink the items in my bag. Even though he’s a little too young right now, I know he’ll love holding onto his own room key and money to use on the trips. And how awesome is that airplane design for a little boy?! <3 it!

They are also the perfect size to hold about 10 business cards, or to use as a thin “going out” wallet to hold your drivers license, a credit card and some money, so us gals don’t have to carry around a big wallet or purse. Although, let me be honest and admit that other than when I go to work, my “purse” for the past year has been a diaper bag. I am a fashion icon, let me tell ya.

One of Trent’s favorite activities is to steal our wallets and pull out all the cards and papers inside, so now, we gave him his own fun little wallet to pretend with, and hopefully use for real when he’s older.
