Our recent Disney trip has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the Disney fun has to end. Trent loves watching Toy Story 3, Up, and Bolt, all already on his iPad, but our recent trip had me thinking about some other Disney movies that he could watch and enjoy. Some of the classics are the best!

Luckily, Netflix offers many Disney options, both new favorites and timeless classics. Below are some options currently available through instant streaming:

To make Disney movie nights even more fun, you could incorporate both Disney items and movie treats to go along with your movie.

We’ve had a set of Disney popcorn tins that’s great for making a big batch and sharing.

You could also make popsicles or serve ice cream in Disney bowls.

Grab some boxes of candy from the store to enjoy…much cheaper than getting them at the movie theater!

You can turn your movie night into a full dine-in movie experience and make a pizza with Mickey head pepperoni!

So grab some treats and select a Disney movie from Netflix to enjoy a Disney movie night at home…the perfect way to pass the time until your next trip!

Sure, I’m a working mom. My day starts at 6:30am as I try to quietly get out of bed and not wake anyone up while I get ready for the day. The further along in this pregnancy I get, the longer it takes me to get up and ready…leaving less time for things like breakfast.

Don’t get me wrong…I still have a breakfast, but I know it could be better…much better. Right now, I enjoy my coffee in the car then munch on a granola bar or some muffins at work first thing. By the time I am eating breakfast, I’ve been awake for almost 2 hours!

I am lucky in the fact that I have a husband that works from home and watches Trent. This means I don’t have the added time pressure of preparing another human being for the day. I can barely get myself ready in the morning!

So when I was invited to try the new Tyson® Day Starts™ sandwiches (the first line of breakfast items introduced by Tyson Foods) in order to get a better breakfast experience, I was definitely on board.

I chose to try the Chicken Biscuit and the Wrapped Omelet. Variety!!

I was most looking forward to the chicken biscuit and it did not disappoint. I was happy to see thick, real, white-meat chicken inside two fluffy biscuits.

After a quick trip in the microwave, I enjoyed a delicious chicken biscuit WITH my coffee. It was actually relaxing to take a few minutes to enjoy a better breakfast instead of rushing out the door and then sitting in a random drive-through with half the town that’s on their way to work.

Given the deliciousness of the chicken biscuit, I was excited to try an omelet the next morning.

The tortilla was crispy and the Colby and Monterey Jack cheese and egg melted perfectly together.

There are three sandwiches in a box and 2 omelets in a box. They each come prepackaged, so it’s up to you where you want to enjoy them. Each item has different cooking instructions, so be sure to read them before you enjoy! The chicken biscuit is best microwaved from refrigeration, so I suggest taking one out of the freezer the night before. The omelet comes in a metallic wrapping that shrinks around the omelet while cooking to give it it’s crispiness. Cool!

Don’t you always feel like the pillows at hotels are so much better than the ones you have at home? Well, we feel that way with the pillows at Disney. It’s either that or we are so dead-tired at Disney that anything feels comfortable…some people don’t even need a pillow.

Nonetheless, we have constantly been on a search for good pillows. The folks at Reverie must have known this, because they recently asked if I would like to experience their Sweet Slumber Pillow. Umm, yes please!

A little about the Sweet Slumber Pillow:

Of course, Brett was jealous that I would get to try a new pillow…especially since he has been on the hunt for pillow replacements longer than I have.

When it came in the mail, the box was heavy…this was no lightweight pillow! Because it is filled shredded latex, it is much heavier than your average pillow. But perhaps this was what we needed. It is thick enough that I was able to replace my two pillows with just this one.

I liked how it lifted my head up to just the right height without having to use two pillows. I slept just fine, but would have liked for it to be a king-sized pillow, as I had to move it back and forth every time I rolled over (which is a lot for this pregnant gal).

I let Brett try it the next night. He thought it was a good mix of firmness and fluffiness.

Overall, the Sweet Slumber Pillow was much better than many we have tried. This pillow would last much longer than regular pillows that fall flat within a couple of months. Pillow preferences vary so greatly from one person to the next, so keep that in mind. Since it is filled with shredded latex, you’ll want to skip this if you have a latex allergy. This pillow would be great for someone that wants a fairly firm pillow, that holds your head a few inches off the mattress, and offers extras such as hypo-allergenic and dust-mite resistant.

Oh Trent, you have shown me that there is definitely something worse than a picky-eater husband…a picky-eater toddler!

Trent’s menu is rather limited and when we try to put something on his plate that he doesn’t like, he definitely can not just leave it alone. He has to move it off or play with it until we take it off completely.

We rarely sit at the dining table to eat. We like sitting in the living room and relaxing with a good tv show or movie. Trent’s plate will go on the table and he’ll run around and play, grabbing bites of food in between. Sure, it’s not what many would consider the best for teaching good eating habits, but it works for us.
